Moji: Firefox extension for kanji lookups
Today I've been loving Moji, a Firefox extension that gives you instant translation / detailed on-yomi / kun-yomi / etc of Japanese text in any web page. It's a bit like having rikai.com sitting permanently on your shoulder, whispering things like "体: タイ / からだ - tai / karada - body" into your ear while you surf. Very cool stuff. [via easterwood.org]

I think that what you really want ;) is rikaichan. The "true successor" of rikai.com.
I've just checked and it seems that now it's available on mozdev too.

Ooh, that's pretty cool too - thanks for the link. All these smart kanji apps are making me want to get back into developing The Kanji SITE again... maybe I'll finally have time once I get back to the UK. Or not :(

Oh YOU did the kanji site? That was my bible for studying for the JLPT last year - too bad I failed by 0.75%
Anyway, my two cents are for popjisyo, which I use to read Japanese friends' blogs and such. Give it a look. www.popjisyo.com

Yeah, that's me. Glad it was at least of some use to you, though I'm sorry you just missed the pass. Think of it this way, though: you've got a whole year to scrape another three points together from somewhere. Easy.

I really liked ur kanji website. Have been in Japan for 2 yrs and cleared the level 3. Aspiring to clear level 2 this december. Pl update ur kanji list details as I really need it! I think the way you have put the kanji info is coool!
